At SwedishCandyHeroes.com, we take pride in delivering authentic Swedish candy and quality merchandise to customers throughout the United States. Due to the nature of our products, especially perishable food items, different return and refund conditions apply depending on the product category. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.


Food & Edible Products

All food, candy, snacks, and other edible items are considered final sale and are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Because of food safety and hygiene regulations, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for edible products once an order has been processed or shipped.

However, if your order arrives:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Melted due to transit issues
  • Incorrect
  • Missing items

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the package and products
  • A description of the issue

After review, we may offer, at our discretion:

  • A replacement shipment
  • Store credit
  • A partial or full refund

Refunds or replacements for edible products are only issued when the issue is verified as a shipping error, fulfillment mistake, or transit damage.

Non-Food Merchandise

Non-food items such as apparel, accessories, or branded merchandise may be eligi

ble for return or exchange with prior authorization.

  • Your order number
  • The reason for the return

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed
  • Items must be returned in original packaging and condition
  • Return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Exchanges

We only replace non-food items if they arrive defective, damaged, or incorrect.

  • Your order number
  • Photos showing the issue

Exchanges are limited to the same item and are subject to product availability.

Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.

If a package is returned to us due to:

  • An incorrect address
  • An incomplete address
  • Failed delivery attempts
  • Refusal of delivery

the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping charges required to resend the order.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Refund Processing

For approved non-food merchandise returns:

  • Returned items will be inspected upon receipt
  • We will notify you by email regarding approval or rejection of the refund
  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days

All refunds are processed in U.S. Dollars (USD).

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund after 10 business days:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card provider, as processing times may vary
  3. Contact your bank for additional information

Sale & Discounted Items

Sale, clearance, promotional, or discounted items are considered final sale and are not eligible for refunds or exchanges unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is the result of our error or a defective product.

For approved refunds, original shipping costs and return shipping costs may be deducted from the refund amount where permitted by law.

For returns valued over $75, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before they have been processed or shipped.

Once an order has entered fulfillment or shipment, it cannot be canceled.

U.S. Shipping Only

SwedishCandyHeroes.com currently operates exclusively within the United States and ships only to addresses located within the U.S.
